- 19 years ago I discovered a collection of Vanilla fragrances in Paris called Comptoir Sud Pacifique. When ever I wore one of the vanilla scents, men and women would comment and ask what it was and where they could get it. My reply was Vanille and Paris. After 6 months of being stopped on the streets of NYC, in elevators, approached by waitstaff in restaurants, I had my ahh moment. If so many people like this Vanilla scent, maybe I should buy a couple of cases and start selling it. 2 decades later, a successful career in the beauty biz and the most loyal support from beauty editors, retailers, fans, friends, and family, I continue to represent Comptoir Sud Pacifique along with a few new discoveries.
