"Intensely Feminine" is a perfect description of this divine new fragrance from the House of Laurence Dumont. It's Dee-lish. When I first got my hands on it I wasn't sure of the Violet/Vanilla combo, but trust me it works! First note upon application (on me anyway) is definitely a subtle floral - but hold the phone.... I usually do not like florals. But...with this fragrance, I don't know if it's the combo of the first three notes or what, but no matter - it smells sooooo good. I just sat there inhaling my arm, appreciating it more and more as it dried down. The dry down scent for me is a warm vanilla - but not your typical "oh, she's wearing vanilla something-or-other..." no, this is unique - it's soft, sweet, totally girlie, sexy and decadent! It is so pretty - could definitely wear this in any season. Guarantee you get close enough to your favorite guy and he is going to want to take a bite out of you...or at least nibble on your ear....Very nice staying power, not at all overpowering. I'm thinking that I'm going to need to sample more from the Senteurs Gourmandes collection....this Vanille Violette is tres magnifique!
